Tuxedo Overview

Tuxedo is an American Neo-noir Film written by James Lenon. The film follows the day of two contract killers, Russell Salem and Samuel Winston, as they carry out hits on two high value targets. The film also trails the day of Mavis Newport, the love/hate interest of Russell, who becomes an unwilling participant in serial killer, Sol Vice-Roy’s experimental therapy. Vice-Roy, labeled by the media as the Figure Four Killer, is main focus of Mass Murder Unit Detectives Nick Maverick and Benjamin Hawk who have been given authority by the Governor to take over any case with trending murders.

Tuxedo Character Breakdown

It officially that time. The opeing bell has rung and pre-production has officially started. To kick off, here’s the character breakdown of the movie’s primaries.

  Russell Salem

Russell is an over confident free spirited contract killer with an unorthodox approach to killing. Using over dramatized dialogue and actions from movies as inspiration, Russell is a hit man like no other. Russell is also a closet Sadist. Russell gets a somewhat sick enjoyment out of the pain he inflicts on people rather it be physical or verbal. With Russell’s consistent sadistic behavior he maintains a constant state of denial of his sadist like ways. Mid 20’s

Samuel Winston

Winston is the definition of a stone cold all about business contract killer. Though proficient at his work, Winston takes no enjoyment in killing other than the money he receives when the job is done. Stoic in demeanor Winston makes for a classic straight man character. Winston who always has a newspaper within arms reach provides certain old age wisdom reserved for men in their 50’s. Winston’s methodical persona adds balance to the partnership with the unorthodox Russell. Mid to Late 20’s

Mavis Newport

Mavis is the definition of what a human door mat is. Kind hearted and sweet in nature Mavis makes for the ideal Masochist. Armed with nothing but an extreme high tolerance for pain Mavis can take shit form the best of them. Currently in a relationship with, Russell the sadist to her masochist, her tolerance for pain is truly challenged. Thou Mavis has a history of masochistic behavior she becomes clinically depressed and starts to contemplate suicide. Mid 20’s

Sol Vice-Roy

  Sol is a misunderstood therapist with an extreme approach to therapy. Though Sol is a therapist his therapy is never requested by name and his patients are never willing participants. Sol kidnaps unsuspecting internally ugly females with beautiful outsides and through extreme therapy tires to make them as ugly externally as they are internally. The end result of the therapy is supposed to liberate you from your external shell setting you free to live life truly beautiful. The women that fail his therapy and decide that they can’t live life externally scared are killed therefore they fail the therapy. Those women are placed in an ally on top of a white sheet with their bodies positioned in the shape of an F for failure. This act got sol recognition in the newspaper as the figure four killer.

Late 30’s
